There are three methods to log in to SD Elements, depending on how your administrator has setup your system. If you are unsure of how to log in, contact your administrator.
- Normal authentication: You should receive a link via email or directly from your administrator. After clicking on the link you will be directed to a page where you can set your password and security questions. Once you set your password you will be redirected to your login page. Your username is your email address.
- Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) authentication: In this case, you will login to the system with your email address and pre-existing LDAP password. In most cases this is your Windows / Active Directory password.
- Secure Assertion Markup Language (SAML) authentication: SAML is a Single Sign On (SSO) standard, which means you will not need to separately log in to SD Elements. You will either automatically be logged in when you access your server, or you will be redirected to another application that you use to enter your username and password.
